Stay Safe. Stay Close to Home. We recommend exercising close to your home and complying with local and state guidance for not traveling for your recreation needs. If an area is crowded, please search for a less occupied location.

Interested in plants and animals found in the forest?  Looking for historical places?  Are you planning a field trip or looking for information on where to go camping?  Stop by any of our ranger offices or visitor centers.

Many of our offices have non-profit organizations that support Tahoe National Forest education projects.  When you purchase educational merchandise you help promote the discovery of public lands, enrich the experience of visitors and build community stewardship of the forest.
