Forest Health Protection (FHP) attends all Interagency Aviation Training (IAT) courses designed to qualify personnel in aviation related job categories. Classes are held online and in person through IAT training events such as Aviation Centered Education (ACE). Training and workshops target a range of federal and state positions including flight managers, program managers and supervisors of personnel that utilize aircraft. The primary focus of safety training is risk management for aerial photography and survey operations. Various workshops are provided to introduce or update technology, calibrate equipment and personnel, and improve customer service.
