Partnerships

Many partners currently assist the Forest Service in managing the Tahoe National Forest.  These partners help provide funding, volunteers, and enthusiasm for the National Forests.    Partners assist in maintaining trails, developing grants, presenting interpretive programs, coordinating fuel reduction efforts, continuing research, sponsoring special recreation events, enhancing wildlife habitat and many other efforts.  Managing the National Forest System lands is a huge job and is dependant on the creativity, knowledge, and passion of many partners who inspire new ideas and help find solutions to complex resource management issues.
