Events, Projects, and Special Uses
The events calendar for the Dakota Prairie Grasslands lists authorized special-use activities, recreation events, volunteer projects, and community partnership functions with our four national grasslands—the Little Missouri, Sheyenne, Cedar River, and Grand River.
Partners and Permittees
The Dakota Prairie Grasslands is proud to partner with local organizations for various charitable fundraisers held on these public multi-use lands and at nearby offsite locations. This list is shared as a helpful resource for our visitors to plan their journeys and does not serve as a formal endorsement. To ensure a peaceful experience and respect the privacy of our guests, some private permitted events may not be listed to minimize disruption.
Planning Ahead
Please be advised that scheduled events in specific grassland areas may result in increased visitor traffic and limited parking availability in developed recreation sites. Visitors are encouraged to review the event schedule below to assist with trip planning. Bookmark this page or check the official event websites for updates; the DPG is not responsible for schedule changes made by event organizers.
