2015 USA Pro Cycling Challenge Race Special Use Authorization
Classic Bicycle Racing LLC makes temporary use of NFS lands during 4 of the total 7 stages on four National Forests within Colorado for ancillary facilities such as staging areas with portable toilets, signs, barricades, message boards. The event includes authorization for filming and photography and several vendors. This temporary use is on NFS lands adjacent to or along state and/or county highways that comprise the Pro Cycling Challenge bicycle race. The race will start on Monday, August 17, 2015 in Steamboat Springs, CO and finish on Saturday, August 23, 2015 in Denver, CO. Temporary facilities will be on NFS lands for several days before and after the race. The purpose of these facilities is to provide for added public safety and to better protect environmental resources along the race route.
