Wildwood Federal #1 Oil & Gas Well Project
The Forest Service (USFS) and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) propose to authorize Duncan Oil Company to develop their Federal oil & gas lease through drilling of one exploratory oil & gas well, Wildwood Federal #1. The USFS's role in the project is to review and approve the Surface Use Plan of Operations (SUPO). The USFS's decision will pertain only to the SUPO. The BLM has authority to decide whether or not to authorize the Application for Permit to Drill (APD). The SUPO is a part of the APD. Both agencies will make separate decisions based on the Environmental Assessment prepared for this project.
