Buckhorn Range Allotment
Heather Provencio, the Red Rock District Ranger, has signed a decision to continue livestock grazing on Buckhorn Allotment. This will continue grazing on approximately 42,000 acres of forest land under the principles of adaptive management. Along with the adaptive management, various range improvements, including the construction of new fences and drinkers, and a vegetation restoration project. The appeal period for this decision will run until December 6. Only those who submitted comments during the 30-day comment period have standing to appeal.
