Over 3 million acres of land located in 22 National Recreation Areas managed by the Forest Service is preserved for recreational activities like hiking, boating, fishing and swimming, while highlighting natural, cultural and scenic resources. Visitors who choose to recreate on these public lands find 164,000 miles of trails, over 30,000 recreation sites, over 5,000 miles of streams and 3 million acres of lakes, 127 alpine ski areas, 338,000 heritage sites, and specially designated sites that include 37 million acres of designated wilderness areas, 130 wild and scenic rivers, 15 monuments, and one preserve. T. Elliott Creek River Access

The road off Hwy 96 to Elliott Creek River Access is an unimproved track from the paved cul-de-sac which allows some access to the cobble bar. It has sustained flood damage and is restricted to 4 wheel drive only. This is not a signed access on Hwy 96.

T.J. Lake Trailhead

See three lakes in one short walk. Abundant wildflowers can be found at the upper end of T.J. Lake. The trailhead is near the campground at Lake George. T.J. Lake is named for Tom Jones, one of the first supervisors of Inyo National Forest.

Tabeguache (25 Mesa) #544.1A

Table Meadows Campground

Table Mountain Group Campground

Walk down a short trail shaded by Aspen and Jeffrey pine to discover a stream side camp located next to Bishop Creek. This is a great base camp for fishing, hiking or just relaxing. Table Mountain Loop

This loop starts near the town of Antimony next to the East Fork of the Sevier River then climbs quickly up to the top of the Sevier Plateau. In the spring the flowers cover the area and in the fall the aspens are a rich golden.  The loop takes you past the historic Jones Corral Guard Station and the down to the base of the mountain again. Part of this trail is steep and rock covered.

Table Mountain Trailhead

The trailhead is a great starting point for hunters, hikers and horse riders that would like to explore the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness.  This trailhead has a large parking area and offers undeveloped camping at trailhead and 6 horse tie-stall with manger and hitch rail.

Table Rock

Day use area, picnic shelter, tables and grills available. Short trails travel rim of Linville Gorge to Table Rock's summit and to the Chimneys.

Table Rock Campground

Table Rock Campground is located in a small but scenic canyon near Kelly Canyon Ski Resort, approximately 30 miles from Idaho Falls, Idaho. Hiking, mountain biking and ATV riding are popular activities. The campground is situated in a quiet draw covered by an open grassy meadow dotted with summer wildflowers. Aspens and towering pines border the site, offering partial shade.

Table Rock Lookout

Table Rock offers spectacular and unmatched views of the surrounding terrain. To the west is the Mill Creek Watershed, municipal water source for the City of Walla Walla, Washington, and eastward lies the Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness. On the narrow ridgeline separating these two rugged areas is the Kendall Skyline Road (Forest Service Road 64).

To access Tabor Creek Trail, follow the old jeep trail down to Lincoln Creek and cross the creek. There is no bridge and the creek can be high in spring and early summer.
