General Information
Situated near the CCC Campground, it is accessible only by hiking or biking along the Long X and Maah Daah Hey Trails. This secluded site offers a quiet alternative to more developed campgrounds.
Nestled among cottonwoods and overlooking the Little Missouri River, Homer’s Camp provides a basic backcountry experience with only a single fire ring and picnic table. There is no water, electricity, or restroom available, and all visitors must pack out their trash and waste.
Wildlife is abundant along the river corridor, so it’s important to wear appropriate clothing and regularly check for ticks.
