Continental Divide - CDNST Trailhead

 Trailhead for access to the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail #74 on the Gila National Forest.

No pass required

Permits are required for commercial or organized uses.

Please do not camp in trailhead parking areas. All stock feed brought onto the Gila National Forest must be certified weed free.

There is no fee for use

Pets must be leased in the trailhead

Please contact the Gila National Forest Supervisors Office at 575-388-8201 for information about outfitters and guides who are authorized to operate on the forest.

From the Junction of New Mexico Highways 12 and 32, follow New Mexico Highway 12 east/north for approximately 15.5 miles to the Forest Road 218. Turn north/left onto Forest Road 218 and the parking area is immediately on the right.
