Water may be available from stock tanks, streams, and springs. It is advisable to bring your own. Filter, boil, or treat water drawn from natural sources.

All stock feed brought onto the Gila National Forest must be certified weed free.

Motorized vehicles are restricted to designated routes. No driving off-road. See Motor Vehicle Use Map for this area for route designations.

From Silver City travel south on New Mexico Highway 90 approximately 20 miles to Forest Road 4090 O. Turn north (right) into Jack's Peak Trailhead.
