Powerhouse Trail #810

Located in the Glenwood Ranger District, Powerhouse Trail #810 provides users with a moderate 1.87-mile (one way) hike with scenic views of the Mogollon Mountains as it drops from the Bursum Road into Whitewater Creek. It intersects Whitewater Trail 207.1 just outside the Gila Wilderness boundary.

Directions

From US Highway 180 north of Glenwood, New Mexico, turn east on New Mexico Highway 159 *Bursum Road" and proceed approximately 6.8 miles to Forest Road 722 Powerhouse Road on the south (right) side of Bursum Road. Turn right and continue approximately 1.4 miles to the trailhead. There is a small turn around and a kiosk at the trailhead.
