General Information

There are fire grills, picnic tables, garbage facilities and restrooms. For campfires, you can pick up dead wood lying nearby. Please do not cut any trees. Wood may not be removed from the campground. Drinking water system is shut off (January 26, 2024) due to frozen water pipe and damage.

Closest Stores:
Lake Roberts General Store on north side of Lake Roberts. Phone and lodging, (Lake Roberts Cabins) available. No fishing licenses available. Licenses available at Walmart in Silver City.

Permits are required for commercial or organized uses.

Use of OHV and ATVs is prohibited in the campground. Hunting and shooting are prohibited in the campground. Stock animals are not allowed in the immediate campground. A 14-day stay limit applies. Fires are permitted only in grills provided when fire restrictions are not in effect. See bulletin board for fire restrictions.

$15.00 per night per campsite

Pets must be leashed in the campground

Directions

From Mimbres, NM, travel 21 miles north on New Mexico Highway 35. Look for the campground sign on the south side of the road between mileposts 22 and 23.
