Soldier Mountain Ski Resort
Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is a family ski area opened in 1948 consisting of 572 developed acres and 36 runs. Soldier Mountain offers excellent opportunities for powder skiing through its snow cat skiing program. Soldier Mountain hs a base elevation of 5,752 ft. and a top elevation of 7,177 ft. for a total vertical rise of 1,425 ft. covering 1150 acres of variable terrain including glades, bowls, and tree skiing. In addition Soldier Mountain has over 15 runs that are regularly groomed. Soldier also added summer operations in 2021 with lift served, down hill, mountain biking with various levels of down hill trails available and a disc golf course.

General Information
Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, Thursday through Sunday and holidays during the winter. It has extended hours during the Christmas season.

Soldier Mountain is located 70 miles north of Twin Falls, 55 miles northeast of Mountain Home, and 50 miles southwest of downtown Hailey, just 12 miles north of Fairfield off of Highway 20 in the beautiful Sawtooth National Forest.
