The multi-use trails of the Sawtooth National Forest draw many horse riders and backcountry horse enthusiasts.

The Sawtooth National Forest is home to three scenic byways, but visitors can catch beautiful vistas along many National Forest System roads.

Water activities on the Sawtooth National Forest include whitewater rafting, float and jet boating, hot spring bathing, and swimming.
