Interstate 80

Interstate 80 bisects the forest and is one of the primary corridors to access recreation sites.  I-80 enters the Forest east of Auburn and leaves the Forest east of Truckee.  Many campgrounds, trailheads, or other recreation sites are located along the Interstate.
