This 7-mile loop trail starts and ends at the Blacktail Trailhead. This marked and graveled trail winds through the prairie and badlands formations and provides interpretive panels along the way.

Directions

From Lemmon, SD, travel approximately 16 miles south on Highway 73. Turn east on Forest Road 5626 and travel for a half mile. Turn north on Forest Road 5740 and travel for one mile.
