The Skyline Trail is a short one‑tenth‑mile climb from the southernmost point of the Denbigh Trail Loop, leading to a scenic overlook. This trail winds through the Denbigh Experimental Forest, offering views of diverse tree species, gentle hills, and the quiet beauty of the Northern Plains. Getting There

Trailhead/Starting Points

  • Northwest Trailhead: Situated near the administrative site and the historic arboretum.
  • Southwest Trailhead: Located at the southwest corner of the unit.

Parking

There is ample parking available at both Denbigh Trailheads—one located at the southwest corner of the unit and the other at the northwest end.
