Little Walnut Individual Picnic Area
Please NOTE: Water is not available at the group or family picnic areas at Little Walnut.
The Little Walnut Family Picnic Area is available for day use only without charge for small family groups. Facilities include 15 individual picnic tables. Each table site is equipped with a pedestal grill. Toilets and trash cans are conveniently located within the area. Water is available within the picnic area most of the time.

All sites first come, first served.
General Information
As with all Little Walnut day use areas, no firewood is available. Plan to bring charcoal or wood for cooking as needed. Pets permitted on a lease only (remember to clean up after your pet). No horses allowed in the picnic grounds.
Please note: Families or groups with 10 or more people are strongly encouraged to reserve a group use area.

There is an adjacent trail system with trailheads located north and south of the picnic area. Picnic Loop Trail #714 passes by the picnic area for easy access.
