Redrock Rd. CDNST Trailhead

Trailhead located in the Big Burro Mountains portion of the Silver City Ranger District located on the north side of Redrock Road (Grant County CMR 4-24) to access the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (Trail #74 on the Gila National Forest).

Parking is available overnight; occupancy and use at the trailhead is dawn to dusk.

Please do not camp in trailhead parking areas. All stock feed brought onto the Gila National Forest must be certified weed free.

No fees are required for this site

Pets must be leashed in trailhead

Please contact the Gila National Forest Supervisors Office at 575-388-8201 for information about outfitters and guides who are authorized to operate on the forest.

Directions

From Silver City, travel west on US HIghway 180 approximately 13 miles to Mangas Valley Road. Turn west (left) and proceed 4.75 miles to Redrock Road. Turn right and proceed approximately 7 miles to the trailhead on the north (right) side of the road.

Parking for five passenger vehicles and two larger spots for vehicle and trailer parking
