Hum Lake/North Fork Lick Creek Trail #082

Hum Lake View

From the west (Duck Lake) trailhead the Hum Lake Trail #082 departs from the Twenty Mile Trail #085 in route to Duck Lake about one mile from the trailhead. Reaching Hum Lake requires a steep climb to approximately 7,800' and a descent of 1,000' down to the lake shore. This elevation gain (and loss) will be replicated on the return for an out-and-back trip. Trail #082 continues east past Hum Lake and along the North Fork of Lick Creek. The route connects to the Loon Lake Trail #081 1/2 mile from Lick Creek Road. Hum Lake is located on the Krassel Ranger District in the Lick Creek Recreation Area.
