The Ecosystem Management Coordination Staff supports and manages planning and decision making processes used by the Forest Service to manage the lands and resources of the National Forest System. This site is designed to provide you access to the major information collection, storage, analysis, and decision-making processes used by the Agency. Adaptive Management, Monitoring and Analysis
The Adaptive Management, Monitoring and Analysis promotes the use of scientifically substantiated data, which is collected efficiently and transparently, to inform all stages of the adaptive management cycle. We strive to provide decision makers and staff with essential information and approaches needed to continue to learn about ecologic and socioeconomic resources on National Forest System lands and to address potential uncertainties when making land management decisions.

Land Management Planning is the process we use to how to develop, revise, and amend forest plans. The planning process provides numerous opportunities for public participation while emphasizing working with local, State, and tribal governments.
