Windmills on the National Grasslands

The windmill is located off Indian Point on California's only National Grassland. In Northern California's Butte Valley, the wind always blows. Although small in size, 18,425 acres, this area provides important habitat for raptors, sage dependent wildlife species and migrating waterfowl.
