WASHINGTON, D.C.—As May began, we paid tribute to fallen officers during National Police Week. In our agency's history, we have lost eight Forest Service law enforcement officers in service to our agency.

The agency supports communities, states and industry, and throughout May, provided grants for wood innovations and community wildfire defense, among others.
