Bennett Trail is a 3-mile trail from Maah Daah Hey Trail (MDHT) mile-marker 127.5 (just South of the China Wall) to Bennett Campground. Combining sections of Bennett Creek Trail, MDHT, and the Cottonwood Trail creates a 15-mile loop.

Potable water is available at Bennett Campground from spring to fall seasons (turned off during winter). 

All trails are intended for non-motorized travel only. Therefore, all motorized vehicles, including E-bikesmotorcyclesall-terrain vehicles (ATVs)utility terrain vehicles (UTVs), and snowmobiles, are prohibited.

Getting There

Directions

To access the Bennett Creek Trailhead, head seven and a half miles north of Grassy Butte on Highway 85, then turn west for four miles. Turn south onto road 824, cross the green cattle guard, and go about one mile southwest to the trailhead. The trailhead is adjacent to Bennett Campground, and the Maah Daah Hey Trail is about three miles west of the campground.
