WASHINGTON, D.C.—Gabby Fernandez and Scott Turner from the Albuquerque Service Center Chief Financial Office group are working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to provide financial support for the Arizona COVID-19 vaccination efforts. They track daily costs and maintain time records for all vaccination resources, including approximately 200 overhead resources and an additional 100 contract medics. Fernandez and Turner also maintain the official financial records in the FireNet database, which is a secure web environment that enables National Wildfire Coordinating Group partners to meet their collaboration business needs.

Fernandez is currently the lead analyst of Process Control Analysis, providing guidance, oversight and coordination for a variety of special projects and audit liaison functions.

Turner is a member of the Financial Reporting and Reconciliation Treasury Symbol Analysis team. In addition to his busy work schedule, every year he voluntarily coordinates the center’s blood drives and ensures all communication includes dates, times and places to locate the bloodmobiles.
