July 15, 2024
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Chief Moore, Deputy Chief Mary Pletcher Rice and Chief Financial Officer Robert Velasco provided updated information about the housing rebate in a call with employees July 9.
The Chief Financial Officer, Budget & Finance, has been working diligently to establish and test new processes for implementing the housing refund. As a result, eligible employees should begin receiving housing refund payments no later than the week of July 22.
The retroactive payments to March 10, 2024, will not be in one lump sum but will be received in separate payments for each of the seven pay periods. These initial retroactive payments may be received over the course of several days. Employees will receive a separate email message notification for each pay period’s payment and there will be a delay of up to 10 business days between the email notification and receipt of the funds.
The schedule for reimbursement for payroll payments is posted on the CFO Budget & Finance SharePoint site: Over the Counter and Billing Module. Over on the National Housing Hub site, you will find frequently asked questions. For any questions, please contact the CFO Contact Center at 877-372-7248 option 1.
