WASHINGTON, DC—Following in-person and virtual meetings over the last seven months, the National Federation of Federal Employees and representatives of the Forest Service have continued to make significant progress on negotiating our next Master Agreement.

By taking an interest-based approach, focusing on our employees and working together amicably, the process has gone well. The parties have arrived at almost complete agreement on seven articles. The parties are hoping to complete the negotiations on the remaining three articles by the beginning of 2024.
