2023 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey extended through July 7
The Office of Personnel Management has extended the 2023 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey until July 7. That means there is about one week left for you to share your greatest power – your voice. Your thoughts and ideas have the power to make the Forest Service even better. If you still have not received the FEVS email invitation (and were on board in Nov. 2021), please contact the Office of Personnel Management FEVS Team directly at EVAG@OPM.GOV.
As a reminder, the survey is anonymous, and your individual responses are never shared with anyone at USDA or the Forest Service. Small numbers (below ten responses) are also suppressed in data reports. Your opinion will be heard without anyone knowing it’s you.
Last year, the Forest Service participation was 43%. As of June 28, 30% of eligible employees have participated in this year’s survey. The graph below shows the percentage of people who have taken the survey by region, station and the Washington Office. Currently, the Work Environment and Performance Office is leading in participation at 62%, followed by Research and Development at 54% and the Forest Products Laboratory at 52%.
Time is of the essence. If you have not done so yet, please take 30 minutes to complete the survey TODAY. You are allowed to use work time (‘01’ time) to take survey and all supervisors are expected to provide at least 30 minutes for each employee to take the survey. It takes all of us to build a positive work environment and every single voice matters. Thank you for sharing your voice and stepping up to make the Forest Service an even better place to work.
If you have any questions about the survey, please send an email to SM.FS.wepo_dae@usda.gov
FEVS reports for 2022 and prior years are available at FEVS Reports(internal page). For custom FEVS reports not available in BOX, you may send an email to SM.FS.wepo_dae@usda.gov or request data using our new data request form: FEVS_Survey Data Requests.
