ADHD in the workplace - Oct. 26

October 23, 2023

ADHD Awareness month banner

This year, the Office of Civil Rights is coordinating the 2023 Forest Service National Disability Employment Awareness Month observance. The program will feature information on disability employment awareness and Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder in the workplace.

Our guest speaker will be Nidia Valadez, a licensed therapist with over a decade of counseling experience. She will focus on how to equip individuals with the knowledge and competencies necessary to cultivate inclusive environments for neurodiverse colleagues, particularly those with ADHD. During this time together, Valadez will share how to elevate our understanding of ADHD, recognize the impact of ADHD on work performance and discuss strategies for success.
