By Oct. 4, please submit positions to be filled for the 2023 STEM career opportunities hiring event. The Forest Service will be hosting a STEM Careers hiring event in conjunction with the 2023 Women of Color STEM Conference Oct. 12-14 in Detroit, Michigan. This annual event focuses on recruiting and hiring student interns and recent graduates who are pursuing careers in engineering, geographic information systems, information technology and more. Applicants do not need to attend the Women in Color STEM Conference to apply. Job posting information is below.

What you need to do

No later than Oct. 4, hiring managers who want to fill positions at this hiring event will need to submit positions using the Pathways STEM Hiring Intake Form.

Position information (announcement dates updated)

The positions listed below will be open on USAJOBS.gov between Oct. 11 and Nov. 16, and the vacancy announcements will be posted on the STEM Career Opportunities hiring event webpage. Pay grades for these positions are entry-level GS-03/04 for current undergraduates and GS-05/07 for graduate students. To view the 2023 pay scale, please visit the OPM salary website.

Intern indefinite (Pathways)
