HRM: Early release July 1

July 1, 2022

Banner: HRM Update.

To acknowledge the Fourth of July Independence Day holiday, Secretary Vilsack has authorized a two-hour early dismissal for employees on Friday, July 1, 2022.

What You Need to Do

  • Seek approval to participate from your supervisor. If you are unable to participate because your supervisor directed you to continue working, you may use the two hours on a different day no later than July 30, 2022.
  • If Friday is not a workday for you, or if you’re already on pre-approved leave, work with your supervisor to use the two hours on a different day no later than July 30, 2022.
  • Use Paycheck8 code TC-66 (other leave) and note the early release in the remarks section. You may only use the two hours during your normal work schedule (tour of duty). You are not required to use the two hours at one time, but you must use them by July 30, 2022.
