HRM: July 4 time and attendance

The Fourth of July holiday falls on Monday this year. Most employees will observe the holiday on Monday, July 4, 2022. Employees who have Mondays as a regular day off, please review the HRM Leave webpage to figure out your “in lieu of” holiday.

What You Need to Do

  • Submit your time and attendance on time
    • Make sure you submit your timesheet by Tuesday, July 5, 2022, or as early as Friday, July 1, 2022.
  • Code your time correctly
    • As with all holidays, please code your time in Paycheck8 with Transaction Code 66 and Descriptor Code 21. If your supervisor requires you to work during the holiday or your “in lieu of” holiday, review the HRM Leave webpage for how to code your timesheet.
  • Make sure your time and attendance processes
    • Your supervisor must approve your T&A right away but no later than the close of business (5 p.m. Central Time) Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
    • Make sure you receive the following three emails from paycheck@gdci.com about the status of your T&A.
      • Paycheck8: [insert name]—T&A has been submitted.
      • Paycheck8: [insert name] —T&A has been approved.
      • Paycheck8: [insert name] —T&A sent to NFC.
