HRM: New remote work agreement tool available

Please review the information below for telework and remote work reminders and to make sure that you and your employees have the proper Remote Work or Telework Agreement in place. The new Remote Work Agreement tool is now web-based like the Telework Agreement tool. You can access both agreements by using the Telework/Remote Agreement link in the My Links” menu in ConnectHR.

What Supervisors Need to Do

Remote Work Agreement: For your employees in approved remote eligible positions who chose to work remotely, you are asked to create a new Remote Work Agreement request and complete it by Sept. 5, 2022.

  • Employees in approved remote positions include those who chose to work remotely after receiving a remote eligible position eligibility notification or those who were hired as remote. To create the request, log in to ConnectHR and find the Telework/Remote Agreement tool on the left under My Links.
  • Telework Agreement: If you have not already done so, use the new Telework Agreement web-based tool to notify each of your employees of their telework eligibility and then complete telework agreements. Visit ConnectHR to find the Telework/Remote Agreement link in the My Links menu on the left.

What Employees Need to Do

  • If you are eligible, after your supervisor starts a new Telework Agreement or Remote Work Agreement, you will receive an email with a link to the agreement and instructions for you to complete your part.
  • You can also visit ConnectHR and select the Telework/Remote Agreement link to send a reminder to your supervisor, check the status or complete any required actions.

Paycheck8 Codes

  • Telework: For routine (regularly scheduled) telework use Transaction Code 01 with Descriptor Code 11.
  • Situational (unscheduled) telework: Use Transaction Code 01 with Descriptor Code 17.
  • Remote work (for employees on approved Remote Work Agreements): Use Transaction Code 01.
