HRM: Pay Period 20 will need to be coded using FY2023 and FY2024 job codes

Pay Period 20 overlaps two Fiscal Years. It is important employees charge their time worked to the correct job code in Paycheck 8 for each week of Pay Period 20. The majority of employees will charge to a FY 2023 job code the first week, and to a FY 2024 job code the second week.
- The first week of Pay Period 20 began in FY2023 on Sunday, September 24, 2023 and ended on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
- The second week of Pay Period 20 began in FY2024 on Sunday, October 1, 2023 and will end on Saturday, October 7, 2023.
PLEASE NOTE: Job Corps employees will continue to use Program Year 2023 job codes for the entire Pay Period 20.
What you need to do
- As a reminder, Monday, October 9 is a federal holiday. Employees are strongly encouraged to submit their timesheets before Saturday, October 7, and no later than Tuesday, October 10.
- In Paycheck 8, employees must use the appropriate FY job code for each week:
- Use a FY2023 job code for Sunday, September 24, 2023 through Saturday, September 30, 2023.
- Use a FY2024 job code for Sunday, October 1, 2023 through Saturday, October 7, 2023.
- Double check your Paycheck8 profile. Your job code may have automatically updated to the FY2024 job code or you may need to manually update the job code.
- Contact your local budget officer for job code information, if needed.
- Review the How-to Guide for Paycheck8 New Fiscal Year for detailed instructions.
