By Jan. 8, 2024, please submit positions to be filled using the summer internships hiring event.

Our summer internship annual hiring event takes place from Jan. 12 to Feb. 7. The goal of this nationwide virtual event is to recruit and hire temporary student interns who are pursuing careers in natural resources, physical and social sciences, engineering, technology, administration and foundational fields. This event is an opportunity for hiring managers to take advantage of a streamlined hiring process for the temporary positions listed below.

What You Need to Do

No later than Jan. 8, hiring managers who want to fill positions at this event will need to submit positions using the Pathways Summer Internships Hiring Intake Form.

Position Information

The positions listed below will be open on USAJOBS.gov between Jan. 12 and Feb. 7 and the vacancy announcements will be posted on the Summer Internship Hiring event page. Pay grades for these positions are: GS-02 for high school students, Job Corps graduates and new college students; GS-03 and 04 for current college undergraduates; and GS-05 for graduate students.
