OneUSDA: Thank you for being a USDA changemaker
Dear USDA Family,
The 2021 Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area has officially come to an end, and I am thrilled to reveal our final giving results and achievements!
Here at USDA, we collectively raised $1,732,148! That is 101% of this year’s goal. It will all go to help those in need right here in our local communities, across our nation and around our world. In addition to the monetary contributions, we also thank you for the 1,633 volunteering hours you pledged. That is a 41% increase from last year. This is an incredible achievement, and I am proud to be part of such a caring community within USDA!
This year’s success is a testament to the changemaker in each of you, and collectively to the generosity of the USDA community. Even throughout a global pandemic and the uncertainty we have felt over the last year, you continue to rise and give to those most in need. Thank you for being the face of change for charitable causes that help communities recover from disaster, support military families, ensure education for all and others that make a positive difference in our world. Your pledges will make a difference for those in need in the weeks, months and years to come.
Finally, I want to add a sincere message of gratitude to those who served as invaluable campaign workers who led us to the resounding success of our 2021 CFCNCA: Thank you for serving as a CFCNCA leader and changemaker. Your dedication and efforts were vital to the success of the campaign and will bring help and hope to millions of people as monetary and volunteer pledges go to support the missions of thousands of participating charities.
Best wishes,
Astrid Martinez
