RECENTLY ISSUED DIRECTIVES

FSM 5380 - Law Enforcement Equipment (9/28/2023)

• Revises cross-references and makes minor editorial and technical changes throughout the chapter. These changes address the GAO audit concerns for the National K-9 Program.

FSM 5370 - Suitability Requirements, Training and Standards (9/28/2023)

• Revises cross-reference and makes minor editorial and technical changes throughout the chapter. These changes address the GAO audit concerns for the National K-9 Program.

FSH 2709.11 Chapter 10 - Application and Authorization Processing (10/4/2023)

• Updates various sections within the chapter. Additional revisions are listed within the digest.

FSH 2709.11 Chapter 20 - Cost Recovery (10/4/2023)

• Throughout the chapter, changes codes and captions to accommodate issuance of new policy and direction. Sets forth direction for implementing the special uses cost recovery regulation (36 CFR 251.58), which was published in the Federal Register on February 21, 2006 (71 FR 8892).

FSH 2709.11 Chapter 30 - Land Use Fee Determination (10/4/2023)

• Throughout the chapter, changes code and captions, recodes and updates in its entirety. Additional revisions are listed within the digest.

FSH 2709.11 Chapter 50 - Standard Forms and Supplemental Clauses (10/4/2023)

• Updates the chapter in its entirety, and updates clauses consistent with revisions to special use authorization forms, and updates title of Washington Office, Lands Director to Washington Office, Director of Lands, Minerals and Geology.
