USDA: Telework survey

April 22, 2021

Text header for USDA

Last month, Secretary Vilsack sent a memo to all U.S. Department of Agriculture employees reaffirming his commitment to a new USDA telework policy that embraces expanded workplace flexibilities. Secretary Vilsack and USDA leadership is committed to working with employees to thoughtfully consider all factors that impact your work while continuing to meet USDA’s mission.

As the first step in hearing from employees, we ask that you please complete this survey to provide your input and candid feedback on telework. The survey should take 15 to 30 minutes to complete and is voluntary. You may use official time to complete it. Any information you provide is anonymous.

Developing a comprehensive USDA telework policy means we need you to tell us your unique perspectives, lessons learned and ideas for the future. The survey is open for two weeks and closes on May 7, 2021.

*To the extent this policy may constitute a change in a condition of employment for bargaining unit employees, agencies/offices will implement it in accordance with the terms of their current labor agreement and 5 U.S.C. Chapter 71.
