WASHINGTON, D.C.—International Amphibian Week runs May 5-11. Several agencies of the U.S. Department of Agriculture participate as Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation  to raise awareness about amphibians and the science and management efforts that protect them as well as to co-lead the third International Amphibian Week.

This year’s Amphibian Week event plans feature live animals, agency booths spotlighting conservation efforts, a film screening and expert panel, and activities for families. You are invited to join on your personal time or to participate in your Forest Service role to engage these diverse audiences—contact Michelle Tamez, NatureWatch program lead, for information.
