Empower your career: Take the Program & Project Management training survey
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Are you a program or project manager looking to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry? Do you want access to valuable training opportunities that can help you excel in your role? The United States Department of Agriculture is collecting training needs from all program and project managers to tailor its offerings and provide employees with the resources they need to succeed.
USDA recognizes the importance of continuous growth and development for program and project managers. In an ever-evolving landscape, it is crucial to stay ahead of the curve and possess the necessary skills to lead successful projects and initiatives. By participating in this survey, you are actively contributing to the enhancement of professional development opportunities within the USDA P/PM Community of Practice. Furthermore, we will use your responses to notify you when courses become available.
Survey responses will play a crucial role in determining the future of USDA and mission area P/PM certification class offerings, continuous learning classes, USDA P/PM Community of Practice webinars, P/PM discussion opportunities and much more. By taking part in this survey, you will have a direct impact on the development of the program and project manager training plan for fiscal year 2024.
Benefits of Participating in the Survey
P/PM certification class offerings: Your responses will help inform the number and type of P/PM certification classes offered by USDA and mission areas.
Continuous learning classes: The survey responses will also determine the continuous learning classes that will be offered by USDA and mission areas. These classes will provide you with the opportunity to expand your knowledge, acquire new skills throughout your career and maintain program and project manager certifications.
USDA P/PM Community of Practice webinars: USDA P/PM Community of Practice offers monthly webinars delivered by senior program and project manager. By expressing your interest in specific webinar topics, you have the power to influence the content that will be covered. This ensures that the webinars are tailored to the needs and interests of the program and project manager community.
P/PM discussion opportunities: The survey also seeks to gauge your interest in a one-on-one discussion with a senior program or project manager. These discussion opportunities are a valuable resource for both experienced professionals and those new to the field. By participating in the survey, you can help shape the discussion topics that will be offered, ensuring they align with your needs.
Survey Frequency and Use
Take advantage of this survey opportunity as early as possible to make sure you are included in upcoming program and project manager opportunities. The survey will be available for input throughout fiscal year 2024, but each participant can submit their data only once. If you need to make changes to your response, please contact SM.FS.WOOPSPPMCOP@usda.gov. Data from the survey will be reviewed and utilized on a quarterly basis. This allows USDA to stay in tune with evolving training needs and make necessary adjustments to its offerings to best serve the program and project manager community.
