External Leadership Development Opportunities: Apply by Aug. 1

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Are you passionate about enhancing your leadership skills and making a significant impact in your work environment and community? The Training and Employee Development team is excited to share applications for various prestigious leadership development programs. The External Leadership Development Opportunities programs are designed for senior leaders who are eager to learn, grow and lead with confidence and compassion.
Each ELDO program has established eligibility criteria (see details below) and is available for employees GS-13 through Senior Executive Service. These programs are for high-potential employees who already exhibit leadership qualities and wish to further develop their leadership skills for current and future roles in leading change and leading the agency. Tuition is paid for by Work Environment and Performance Office; travel costs are paid for by applicant’s home unit.
Criteria and Selection
Must meet grade eligibility requirements and have at least one year of full-time, permanent service with the agency at the time of application.
Selection into an ELDO program is made through a competitive process.
