July 31, 2023

FS Talks: The Packers Way, Jennifer Ark.

WISCONSIN—Eastern Region employees tuned into another FS Talks to learn from the legendary Green Bay Packers about how they continue to up their customer service game.

Jennifer Ark, director of Stadium Services with the Green Bay Packers, oversees the fan experience—from stadium tours to the Packers Hall of Fame, Guest Services, Shareholder Services and more.

Like the Forest Service, the Green Bay Packers have a high standard for service and engage with a diverse and passionate audience. Ark introduced employees to The Packers Way, the organization’s service standard and the basis for their approach to building positive connections with Packers fans, community members, charitable organizations and beyond.

Her presentation highlighted the organization’s vision and mission, which resonate in their Values of Excellence – Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, Excellence and Stewardship. Jennifer delves into why and how having a staff that is consistent and prepared is at the heart of their Service Standard as they strive to be no. 1 and have the best guest experience in all of sports. Throughout her talk, Ark gave examples of how this is implemented by staff and alumni on and off the field and in the communities they serve.

Ark has a long history with the Packers. Joining them in 1999 she oversaw the club’s premium seating program, as well as Lambeau Field events, restaurant/catering operations and was heavily involved with the planning of Lambeau Field Atrium renovation and stadium expansion.

Ark’s extensive experience is reflected throughout the program and she ended with an engaging and informative Q&A session that correlates to the Forest Service mission and its goals for serving the public.
