WASHINGTON, DC—Employees with travel cards should have noticed a travel card training requirement on their AgLearn to-do list. This training is an important requirement for all employees who travel in support of the Forest Service mission. Travel card training provides employees information regarding their roles and responsibilities as card holders. The training should be able to completed within 30 minutes.

The Forest Service is required to have 100% of travel card holders complete their training before the end of the calendar year. However, with only 60 days left, almost 42% of travelers have not completed the training. The agency has been informed if travelers do not complete their required training before the end of each calendar year, they risk having their credit card limit reduced to $1 until the course is taken. Please complete the travel card training to mitigate any disruption in travel and ensure your ability to continue mission operations when travel is required.

Completion dashboards by region, station and deputy area are updated every other week and are posted at CFO Budget and Finance Customer Portal-Travel.
