Timothy Garcia accepted the position of deputy regional forester for the Northern Region (R1). Garcia currently serves as the director, State and Private Forestry, in the Northern Region.

Melany Glossa has accepted the position of deputy chief executive for the Work Environment and Performance Office. Glossa currently serves as the deputy regional forester for the Northern Region (R1).

Justin Green accepted the position of assistant director for Asia & Pacific for the Office of International Programs. Green currently serves as a program manager with Management Engineering and Technology, Inc. in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

David Howell has accepted the position of supervisory information technology specialist (Policy & Planning) for the Chief Information Office. Howell currently serves as supervisory program specialist for the CIO.

Kelly Orr accepted the position of deputy regional forester for the Intermountain Region (R4). Orr currently serves as the supervisory natural resource specialist for the Division of Natural Resources, Recreation, Wilderness, Culture and Paleontology with the Bureau of Land Management.

Jacklyn Powell accepted the position of chief of staff for Human Resources Management in Business Operations. Powell currently serves as the senior staff assistant to the deputy director for HRM.

Jim Smalls accepted the position of acting director of Forest and Rangeland Management and Vegetation Ecology, effective Sept. 11. Smalls currently serves as deputy director of Forest Management. Smalls replaces Chad VanOrmer, who has served as acting since April.
