Jacque Buchanan accepted the position of regional forester for the Pacific Northwest Region (R6) effective Jan. 14. Buchanan currently serves as deputy regional forester for the Rocky Mountain Region (R2). She replaces Elizabeth Berger, who has served as acting regional forester.

Alex Robertson accepted the position of acting director of Fire and Aviation Management in the Washington Office. Robertson currently serves as regional fire director for the Pacific Northwest (R6) and Alaska regions (R10). He fills in behind Jerry Perez, who has retired after more than 34 years of federal service.
