Leslie Boak accepted a position of program specialist on the Engineering staff in the National Forest System. Boak formerly served as the deputy director of Engineering for the Pacific Southwest Region (R5).

Kevin Bourne accepted the position of director of Engineering for the Intermountain Region (R4). Bourne currently serves as the supervisory general engineer on the Engineering staff in Region 4.

Tony Dixon accepted the position of regional forester for the Eastern Region (R9) effective early January 2024. Dixon currently serves as deputy chief for Business Operations. He will permanently replace Regional Forester Gina Owens upon her retirement at the end of December.

Geizel Gerena accepted the position of national budget coordinator for the National Forest System. Gerena currently serves as a budget analyst in Strategic Planning and Budget Accountability.

Bonita (Bonny) Johnson accepted the position of branch chief, Incident Business, Fire and Aviation Management, in State, Private, and Tribal Forestry. Johnson currently serves as an emergency management specialist (finance section chief) for the National Incident Management Organization in State, Private, and Tribal Forestry.

Byron Keely accepted the position of branch chief for the Office of Grants and Agreements in Business Operations. Keely currently serves as a supervisory grants management specialist for the regional office of Grants and Agreements in the Pacific Southwest Region (R5).

Darby Seward accepted the position of branch chief, Policy for the office of Grants and Agreements in Business Operations. Seward currently serves as a policy analyst for the Office of Grants and Agreements in Business Operations.

Travis Siggers accepted the position of branch chief, Training and Policy for the office of Grants and Agreements in Business Operations. Siggers currently serves as the acting division director for the Grants Management Division in the Department of Homeland Security, FEMA.
