Sarah Hines accepted the position of acting director for Knowledge Management and Communications, Washington Office. Hines currently serves as a national supervisory science delivery specialist for KMC. She replaces acting director Tom Moreland. 

Dr. Kenneth Zwick accepted the position of acting director for Landscape Restoration & Ecosystem Services Research in Research & Development, Washington Office. Zwick currently serves as assistant director for Wood, Fibers and Composites Research at the Forest Products Laboratory in Madison, Wisconsin. He replaces acting director Simon Kihia, who will return to his permanent position as research program Manager for Goods, Services and Values Program at the Pacific Northwest Research Station.
