On the Move: June 3, 2024

Troy Heithecker accepted the position of regional forester for the Rocky Mountain Region (R2), replacing Frank Beum, who retired at the end of May. Heithecker currently serves as associate deputy chief for the National Forest System in Washington, D.C.
Steve Lohr will serve as acting regional forester for the Rocky Mountain Region (R2), effective June 1, while Heithecker prepares for his move. Lohr is currently deputy regional forester for the Rocky Mountain Region.
Keith Lannom will serve as acting associate deputy chief for the National Forest System, effective June 1, while Heithecker prepares for his move. Lannom currently serves as director of the National Technology and Development Program.
Kathryn Conant accepted the position of strategic facilities and leasing lead for the Washington Office, National Forest System deputy area. Conant currently serves as the regional director in the Intermountain Region (R4).
Elizabeth Feutrier accepted the position of chief of staff for the Work Environment and Performance Office. Feutrier currently serves as the assistant director for Strategic Operations in Human Resources Management.
Mark Hilton accepted the position of National Interagency Incident Communications division chief for State, Private, and Tribal Forestry, Fire and Aviation Management. Hilton currently serves as the supervisory telecommunications specialist for Fire & Aviation Management.
Chelsey Rogers accepted the position of lead data scientist for the Chief Data Office, Business Operations. Rogers currently serves as senior manager for data science at Asurion.
Chris Tipton accepted the position of aviation management specialist (Fixed Wing branch chief) for State, Private, and Tribal Forestry, Fire and Aviation Management. Tipton currently serves as the fixed-wing program manager in the Rocky Mountain Region (R2), Fire & Aviation Management.
Richard Truex accepted the position of chief of staff for the Rocky Mountain Region (R2). Truex currently serves as the supervisory natural resources management specialist in the Rocky Mountain Region.
