Partnerships on Every Forest applications now open

January 5, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Applications are now open for the Partnerships on Every Forest program, which helps forests develop a better understanding of the strengths, challenges and opportunities within their current partnership work.

Forests selected for the program will participate in a 12-month assessment process, during which they will receive direct feedback from partners and non-partner community members. Forests will receive support to incorporate that feedback into their partnership strategy. Assessments are most effective when forests have staff dedicated to building and maintaining partnerships and have identified a need for extra support. Assessments are not meant to take the place of partnership staff and require ongoing internal support to be effective.

Partnerships on Every Forest is a jointly managed program between the National Forest Foundation and National Partnership Office that supports partnerships and helps forests engage partners in a mutually beneficial way.

Applications to participate in the 2024 Partnerships on Every Forest program are open Jan. 3- Feb. 16, 2024. You must be a Forest Service employee to apply to participate in Partnerships on Every Forest.

Please see the application for more information, including selection criteria.

For more information, please contact Emily Jochem, conservation connect partnership coordinator, National Forest Foundation, or Maya Bhadury, partnership coordinator, National Partnership Office.
